PATROL: Roseburg Police OFFICER: RPD DATE/TIME: 12/26/2019 (08:50 AM) LOCATION: 708 Mosher, Roseburg (Premier Insurance) INCIDENT: Criminal Mischief I CASE #: 196139 PERSON(S): (S) Gardenhire, Rhonda Leann (45) Roseburg CHARGE(S): Criminal Mischief I VEHICLE(S): DETAIL(S): An employee of the listed business returned to work after the holidays to find their nutcracker statue standing outside their front door was damaged on Christmas. After reviewing video footage a female was seen tipping the statue over, and she was identified as Gardenhire. Gardenhire was already lodged at Douglas County Corrections on other crimes. PATROL: Roseburg Police OFFICER: RPD DATE/TIME: 12/26/2019 (11:20 AM) LOCATION: 427 Garden Valley, Roseburg (Quality Inn) INCIDENT: Resisting Arrest CASE #: 196141 PERSON(S): (S) Proescholdt, Destiny (19) Coquille CHARGE(S): Resisting Arrest, Disorderly Conduct II, Criminal Trespass II, Harassment, Criminal Mischief III VEHICLE(S): DETAIL(S): An employee at the Quality Inn advised there was a female refusing to leave the location after check out. Officers attempted to contact Proescholdt in her room and she refused to open the door. They told her through the door they would return in an hour and she would be arrested if she was still on the property, to which she acknowledged.Approximately one hour later the employee called to advise Proescholdt was causing a disturbance in the lobby. Officers contacted her while she was attempting to steal food items. She was placed into handcuffs and then proceeded to kick an Officer. She continued to kick at Officers until she was placed inside the police car. Once inside the car, she started spitting through the center divider. Her motel room was found in extreme disarray and nearly every furniture item was flipped over. DISPO: Lodged at Corrections. PATROL: Roseburg Police OFFICER: RPD DATE/TIME: 12/26/2019 (01:00 PM) LOCATION: 1300 Block Walnut, Roseburg INCIDENT: Criminal Trespass CASE #: 196143 PERSON(S): (S) Anson, Patric Dean (66) Roseburg CHARGE(S): Criminal Trespass II VEHICLE(S): DETAIL(S): Anson was advised he was trespassed from an address in the listed area. A few hours later Officers returned and Anson was still there. DISPO: Cited and Released. PATROL: Roseburg Police OFFICER: RPD DATE/TIME: 12/26/2019 (03:04 PM) LOCATION: 400 Block NE Stephens, Roseburg INCIDENT: Theft CASE #: 196146 PERSON(S): (S) Ryan, Jason Daniel (27) Roseburg CHARGE(S): Assault on Public Safety Officer, Theft III, Parole Violation VEHICLE(S): DETAIL(S): Officers responded to the liquor store at 1350 NE Stephens for a report of Ryan allegedly stealing a bottle of whiskey and drinking half the bottle while at the store and then walking away without paying for it, and telling the clerk to call the police.Officers spotted Ryan walking southbound near Bellview on NE Stephens. Two Roseburg Police Detectives were in the area at the time, and attempted contact with Ryan. Ryan started physically fighting with the Detectives, and punched one of them on the side of the head with his fist. After a brief struggle, he was arrested without further incident. PATROL: Roseburg Police OFFICER: RPD DATE/TIME: 12/26/2019 (03:30 PM) LOCATION: Hult Street, Dillard INCIDENT: K9 Capture CASE #: 196147 PERSON(S): (S) Hollenbeck, Trevor Charles (29) Dillard CHARGE(S): Warrant – Parole Violation (Douglas County Community Corrections), Warrant – Failure to Appear (Winston Municipal Court) VEHICLE(S): DETAIL(S): Hollenbeck ran from Douglas County Sheriff’s Deputies during a trespassing complaint. Hollenbeck had several warrants for his arrest, and has a history of running from police, and had been wanted since 2018. After a lengthy track through the South Umpqua river and blackberries and other brush, Hollenbeck was found trying to hide in the riverbank and K9 Nike made a biting capture of Hollenbeck. PATROL: Roseburg Police OFFICER: RPD DATE/TIME: 12/26/2019 (10:15 PM) LOCATION: 900 Block Harvard, Roseburg INCIDENT: DUII Alcohol CASE #: 196151 PERSON(S): (S) Payne, Steven Michael (58) Roseburg CHARGE(S): DUII AlcoholFailure to Take Tests For Intoxicants VEHICLE(S): Green 2011 Subaru Outback OR# 970FEY DETAIL(S): Payne was stopped for a traffic violation and displayed signs of impairment. Payne was arrested for DUII Alcohol. Payne’s vehicle was parked in the roadway and he refused to call someone to retrieve it, so Roseburg Towing responded and Payne's vehicle was impounded. While at Corrections, Payne refused to provide a breath sample, and was additionally charged with that offense. DISPO: Lodged at Corrections. PATROL: Roseburg Police OFFICER: RPD DATE/TIME: 12/26/2019 (11:01 PM) LOCATION: 2125 Stewart Parkway, Roseburg (Walmart) INCIDENT: Parole Violation CASE #: 196152 PERSON(S): (S) Brockett, Donald James (42) Roseburg CHARGE(S): Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine, Parole Violation VEHICLE(S): DETAIL(S): An Officer responded to Walmart regarding a male who was allegedly attempting to sell Methamphetamine to customers in the parking lot. Brockett was identified as the male, and during contact with him he was found to possess Methamphetamine. DISPO: Lodged at Corrections. PATROL: Roseburg Police OFFICER: RPD DATE/TIME: 12/27/2019 (03:50 AM) LOCATION: Rifle Range / Diamond Lake, Roseburg INCIDENT: Hit & Run CASE #: 196155 PERSON(S): (S) Pasley, Eric James (40) Roseburg, (V) Lee, Harlan Mitchell (61) Roseburg CHARGE(S): Pasley - Failure to Perform Duties of Driver When Property is Damaged VEHICLE(S): Pasley - 2007 Toyota Corolla (562DAN OR), Lee - 2002 Chevrolet Tracker (YYZ177 OR) DETAIL(S): Officers responded to a vehicle accident at the intersection of Rifle Range and Diamond Lake. Both vehicles were unoccupied. Officers were able to contact Pasley, who allegedly drove his vehicle into Lee’s parked vehicle near Java Run. Pasley allegedly didn’t provide any information to the other driver, or leave any information regarding the accident, and then left the area. DISPO: Cited and Released.
