Mott Bridge on North Umpqua River Will Be Closed Tomorrow
11:29 PM · Aug 24, 2020(USFS) Reminder, the Mott Bridge will be temporarily closed tomorrow, August 25 from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. for a regularly scheduled, biennial inspection. This bridge is located 38 miles east of Roseburg off of Highway 138 and provides access to the Mott and Panther sections of the North Umpqua Trail. There will be four opportunities to cross Mott Bridge beginning at approximately 10:00 a.m. and then every two hours thereafter. The bridge will be opened as long as necessary to allow for waiting traffic to cross the bridge. Please exercise caution when waiting on the Highway 138 side of the bridge, as there is limited extra roadway available.
