WinCo's plans for a store in Roseburg in the old Kmart building are in the design phase and moving forward, a company spokesperson said this week. The store went through the City of Roseburg Planning Commission last year, was approved by City Council, and appeal to the Oregon Land Use Board of Appeals. The board approved City Council's decision and WinCo is moving forward with their plans.

The company does not have a timeline yet, but the company spokesperson said they are thrilled to finally be bringing one of their stores to Roseburg. They said the community has shown they want a WinCo. It's in the design phase now.
