Roseburg Track Team Shines at Sheldon Meet

At the track meet held at Sheldon High School Wednesday, Roseburg High School athletes performed very well. Timothy Johnson got 1st place in the 1500 Meters Varsity race with a time of 4:20.58a. In the High Jump Varsity event, Devon Anderson achieved 1st place with a height of 6-00.00. The 4x400 Relay Varsity team, consisting of Peyton Fisher, Moses Finlay, Jaroyn Dorry, and Carter Stedman, also got 1st place with a time of 3:36.58a. Other top finishes include Grant Gober's 3rd place in the 100 Meters Varsity and 3rd place in Long Jump Varsity, and the 4x100 Relay Varsity team's 2nd place finish, featuring Brody Robinson, McLane Stedman, Kohle Hadwen, and Nicholas Parish. For the Roseburg High varsity girls, several notable achievements stood out. Sienna Nunemaker got 1st place in the High Jump event, while Elliana Webber followed closely behind in 2nd place. The Pole Vault event saw Bridget Brooksby earn a 1st place finish, and Grace Bachmeier take 2nd place. In the 1500 Meters Varsity event, Charis Childers took 2nd place.
