Dan Loomis

Currently he is serving the citizens of Douglas County, Oregon as the elected County Clerk. He's served on many local government and citizen boards and committees and has been a Foster Parent to 8 local children. Most recently he was Chairman of the Douglas County Veterans Advisory Committee. Locally, he's worked as a Workforce Development Manager, for the Umpqua Economic Development Partnership. Prior to these, he was an Aircraft Accident Investigator for the Department of Defense. Additionally, he had a decorated 23-year military career with the US Army, rising to the rank of Chief Warrant Officer Four, and has been awarded the Legion of Merit and the Bronze Star Medals. He has proudly lived over 23-years of his life right here in Douglas County, Oregon.
