Roseburg High Student Leads 'Turn On The Lights' Initiative at Fir Grove Fields

Massimo Falleni is leading the "Turn On The Lights" project, which aims to improve the usability of Fir Grove fields in Roseburg. The project involves installing lighting at the community park to enable activities to take place after dark. Falleni, the youth representative for Umpqua United Soccer Club (UUSC), believes that this addition will benefit soccer in the community and provide opportunities for various other activities. Stewart Park Habitat Restoration

Last Friday, we did another wildlife and habitat restoration project at the Stewart Park natural area. We planted 24 trees and over 120 shrubs, grasses, and sedges! This was the first project to receive a donation from Abraham Finlay from the proceeds of his Bitcoin Bird NFT collection. Abraham is donating 10% of the royalties from his art project to fund bird and wildlife rehab and habitat restoration projects. Abraham donated $350 to Friday's planting project. Roseburg 12-year-old Makes Over $8,000 From Digital Art Collection

Early Sunday morning, Abraham Finlay sat back and watched as his digital art collection called “Bitcoin Birds” sold out to people all over the world in less than an hour. The collection was made up of 400 hand-drawn pixel art birds, and each sold for approximately $26.60.
