UVC had 27 shots on goal and one save. “I thought we played a very controlled game and kept the pressure up high most of the game,” UVC coach Chris Guastaferro said. “The objective was to have continual possession of the ball, while switching the field often and point of attack. We were successful in this and I am proud of their progress and performance.” UVC will play at Brookings-Harbor (8-0) on Thursday at 4 p.m. in the second contest of the season between the top two teams in the conference. Glide plays at Gold Beach on Thursday at 4:30 p.m.
