Support Your Medical Workers in Douglas County

There is an significant shortage of face shields for medical workers all across the United States right now. Douglas County is not an exception. This past week through an act of providence, I found a manufacturer that could shift production around to manufacture several hundred face shields for our front line medical workers throughout Douglas County. We would like to purchase and donate them to our county medical workers as a gift to show our support. So our first fundraising goal is to raise several thousand dollars to have these high quality face shields manufactured and flown down here early this next week. If/when we go over the amount needed for the first batch of face shields, excess funds will be used to procure other much needed PPE as we battle this virus in the weeks and months ahead.
