Railroad Crossing Repair Work Friday on NW Stewart Parkway

Roseburg, OR – On Friday, June 5, 2020, Central Oregon and Pacific Railroad (CORP) crews will be conducting repairs to the rail crossing near the intersection of NW Stewart Parkway and NE Airport Road. CORP crews will be repairing the rail and crossing panels. Between 7 am and 5 pm, the railroad crossing will be closed to all vehicle and pedestrian traffic while the repairs are being made. Westbound traffic along NW Stewart Parkway will be detoured around the work area using NW Mullholland Drive and Aviation Drive. Eastbound traffic along NW Stewart Parkway will be rerouted to NE Airport Road. Detour signs will be posted to direct traffic during the closure. Drivers should exercise caution and plan accordingly while the railroad crossing repairs are being conducted. Motorists, who use NW Stewart Parkway for their daily commutes, are highly advised to use a different route. Please obey traffic control signs during the closure.
