DISPO: Cited and Released PATROL: Roseburg Police OFFICER: RPD DATE/TIME: 06/17/2020 (02:00 PM) LOCATION: 1600 Block SE Stephens, Roseburg INCIDENT: Hit and Run CASE #: 202657 PERSON(S): (S) Bragg, Nicholas Adam (25) Roseburg, (V) Pierce Jr., Anthony Douglas (38) Roseburg CHARGE(S): Bragg – Fail to Perform the Duties of a Driver – Felony, Attempted Assault II, Criminal Mischief II VEHICLE(S): OR 014BFS Gray 1997 Nissan 4x4 truck DETAIL(S): Pierce and Bragg got into a physical disturbance the night before where Bragg was assaulted and sustained injuries. Today Bragg saw Pierce riding his bike in a parking lot in the area. Bragg allegedly drove directly at Pierce and Pierce was forced to jump off his bike to avoid being struck. Pierce sustained a sprained ankle when he jumped off the bike and Bragg's truck missed striking Pierce by a short distance.Bragg drove over Pierce's bike, totaling it in the process. Pierce was able to escape and ran from Bragg. Bragg circled the parking lot, then drove over Pierce's bike again. Bragg was contacted a few blocks away and was arrested without incident. Bragg was taken to Mercy to be medically cleared first for his injuries sustained the night before. DISPO: Lodged at Corrections. CHARGE(S): Welsh – Theft I VEHICLE(S): DETAIL(S): An investigation of a physical disturbance that occurred two weeks prior substantiated the struggle was over a stolen dog in the courthouse parking lot. PATROL: Roseburg Police OFFICER: RPD DATE/TIME: 06/17/2020 (05:00 PM) LOCATION: 511 SE Stephens, Roseburg (Rodeway Inn) INCIDENT: Disorderly Conduct CASE #: 202660 PERSON(S): (S) Ellison, Gregory Lee (69) Roseburg CHARGE(S): Disorderly Conduct IIImproper Use of 911 VEHICLE(S): DETAIL(S): Ellison called 911 to report himself trespassing at the Rodeway Inn. At the same time, Rodeway Inn staff called to report Ellison was trespassing on the property and in room 141. It was reported that when staff attempted to get Ellison off the property, he threatened he had a firearm and would shoot anyone that came into the room. After a brief conversation, Ellison emerged peacefully from the room and the investigation revealed Ellison was invited by the current tenant. No weapons were discovered and Ellison was taken into custody without incident. DISPO: Lodged at Corrections. PATROL: Roseburg Police OFFICER: RPD DATE/TIME: 06/17/2020 (07:00 PM) LOCATION: 1039 Garden Valley, Roseburg INCIDENT: Drinking in Public CASE #: 202662 PERSON(S): (S) Anson, Patrick Dean (66) Roseburg CHARGE(S): Drinking in Public VEHICLE(S): DETAIL(S): Anson was intoxicated and passed out near the entrance to the Duck Pond. Next to Anson, was a partially drank Steel Reserve 24 oz. beer. DISPO: Cited and Released. PATROL: Roseburg Police OFFICER: RPD DATE/TIME: 06/18/2020 (12:45 AM) LOCATION: 1036 Douglas, Roseburg INCIDENT: Arson CASE #: 202242 PERSON(S): (S) Singleton, Michael Lawrence (25) Roseburg, (V) Collins, Adam Dwayne (42) Roseburg CHARGE(S): Arson I VEHICLE(S): DETAIL(S): Singleton was already lodged at Corrections on an unrelated incident. He was developed as a suspect from an arson that occurred on May 26th, 2020, in which an unoccupied motorhome was burned, and he was charged with that crime. DISPO: Lodged at Corrections.
