(US Forest Service) A potentially toxic algae may have been identified in Lemolo Lake on the Diamond Lake Ranger District of the Umqoua National Forest. This may make the water unsafe for people and pets and we are advising that people recreating at Lemolo Lake exercise caution. Water samples have been taken and are being sent to a laboratory for examination. Once we have been notified of the results we will post further information here and on our forest website: https://www.fs.usda.gov/umpqua Photo by Rick Swart ODFW
