Fox then left the scene after the incident without exchanging information. Later on 7/4/20, Fox was contacted and issued a citation for Failure to Perform Duties of a Driver. PATROL: Roseburg Police OFFICER: RPD DATE/TIME: 07/03/2020 (07:50 PM) LOCATION: 929 SE Stephens, Roseburg (Kodiak Tavern) INCIDENT: Assault CASE #: 202907 PERSON(S): (S) Gunzenhauser, Tyler Dean (34) Roseburg, (V) Willis, Adam Lee (44) Roseburg CHARGE(S): Gunzenhauser – Assault IV, Resisting Arrest, Criminal Trespass II VEHICLE(S): DETAIL(S): Gunzenhauser was reported to be acting belligerent at the Kodiak so staff asked him to leave. He refused and continued to be disorderly so Willis told him to leave. This caused Gunzenhauser to punch Willis several times causing injuries. Gunzenhauser then fled to a residence on Cobb. Officers gained consent to go into the residence and arrest Gunzenhauser who was asleep on the couch. The officers woke Gunzenhauser and attempted to place him in handcuffs but he resisted and would not allow officers detain him. It wasn't until he observed K9 Grim that he complied. Ziegelhoefer was also stopped on Oak in the far left lane, designated as a left turn lane only. Ziegelhoefer then decided he wanted to go east instead of making the left turn. Once the traffic light changed to green both drivers proceeded east and collided in the intersection of SE Stephens and Oak. There were no injuries, and both vehicles were driven from the scene. PATROL: Roseburg Police OFFICER: RPD DATE/TIME: 07/05/2020 (02:10 PM) LOCATION: 400 Block Fulton, Roseburg INCIDENT: Prohibited Outdoor Burning CASE #: 202922 PERSON(S): (S) Birdsell, Steven Bryan (55) Roseburg CHARGE(S): Prohibited Outdoor Burning VEHICLE(S): DETAIL(S): Birdsell lit a small fire in the grass next to the large parking lot and the Dixon Steel building. The grass fire spread to burn an area roughly 10' by 40' long, but it did not damage any property. Birdsell extinguished most of the fire and prevented it from spreading to the building. Roseburg Fire responded and extinguished what remained of the smoldering fire. DISPO: Cited and Released. PATROL: Roseburg Police OFFICER: RPD DATE/TIME: 07/06/2020 (04:20 AM) LOCATION: 200 Block Amanda, Roseburg INCIDENT: Parole Violation CASE #: 202928 PERSON(S): (S) Chilcott, Jeremy J (46) Roseburg, (V) King, Norma L (82) Roseburg CHARGE(S): Chilcott – Criminal Trespass II, Parole Violation VEHICLE(S): DETAIL(S): Officers were called to the a residence in the area because Chilcott was there reportedly causing a disturbance and has been previously trespassed from the residence.
