Krone was contacted and was clearly impaired and she resisted arrest and was then checked by EMT's on scene. Krone was held at Mercy due to her high level of intoxication. PATROL: Roseburg Police OFFICER: RPD DATE/TIME: 07/09/2020 (07:40 PM) LOCATION: 800 Block Rainbow, Roseburg INCIDENT: DUII Alcohol CASE #: 202986 PERSON(S): (S) Sawyer, Kristina (55) Roseburg CHARGE(S): DUII AlcoholFail to Drive Within Lane, Fail to Yield to Emergency Vehicle VEHICLE(S): 2005 green Honda Accord (OR-UKC350) DETAIL(S): An officer observed Sawyer driving south on Stewart Parkway at a high rate of speed. They estimated her speed to be 50-55 as she approached the intersection of Harvey / Stewart Parkway. She almost rear ended another vehicle in front of the YMCA, causing it to make an evasive maneuver to avoid the collision.The officer tried to stop Sawyer at Stewart Park but she ignored the lights and sirens. She drove all the way to her residence in the listed area before she stopped.Sawyer displayed signs of alcohol impairment, and was arrested without incident for DUII and other traffic violations.
