Oregon Implementing New Measures to Slow Spread of Covid-19
7:41 PM · Jul 13, 2020Oregon Gov Kate Brown today announced new measures the state will be implementing to slow the spread of Covid-19 in the state. 1/2 of all new cases in Oregon from people under the age of 40. 1/3 of new cases are from people under the age of 30. New Measures for the State of Oregon as of Wed July 15th 1. Statewide ban on indoor social get togethers of more than 10 people. Potlucks, dinner parties, birthday parties, book clubs etc cannot exceed 10 people. This does not include businesses and churches. 2. Face coverings now required outdoors when physical distancing of 6 feet cannot be maintained. This impacts when you are hanging out with people you do not live with. Not making any changes to restaurants or bars at this time. More restrictive measures could be forthcoming if the state cannot slow the increase in cases down. Gov wants to do whatever possible to not have to implement any further restrictions on businesses. CA is now closing indoor operations statewide for: -Restaurants -Wineries -Movie theaters, family entertainment -Zoos, museums -Card rooms -Fitness Centers -Places of Worship -Offices for Non-Critical Sectors -Personal Care Services -Hair Salons and Barbershops -Malls -Bars must close ALL operations.
