Late this evening Abraham and I got called out to a house that had the juvenile raccoon who got its leg stuck in between two branches. The raccoon had been stuck since this morning. Because it was dark we decided to carefully cut the tree down so it would go horizontal. We were either going to capture it and put it in a crate for examination or hope that it would be able to release itself. It ended up being able to free itself once the tree with horizontal! Once free it jumped down the hill towards its mother who was still hanging out in the area.
