PATROL: Roseburg Police OFFICER: RPD DATE/TIME: 07/30/2020 (02:00 PM) LOCATION: O'Dell / Winchester, Roseburg INCIDENT: Non Injury Traffic Collision CASE #: 203316, 203321, 201139 PERSON(S): (S) Carney, Michael Aaron (27) Roseburg CHARGE(S): Reckless Driving, Warrant – Failure to Appear (Winston PD), Warrant – Failure to Appear (Roseburg PD) VEHICLE(S): OR 400EPV White 1991 Ford F-250 DETAIL(S): Carney was traveling north on Winchester and made a right turn (east) onto O'Dell. A witness stated Carney took the corner fast enough, it appeared the passenger side tires lifted off the ground. Carney over corrected once on O'Dell and ran into an unoccupied parked car on the south side of the street. The impact was hard enough, it pushed the vehicle about 25 feet up onto the curb against the back side of the News Review building. There did not appear to be any damage to the building.Carney left a note on the door handle of the vehicle and went back to his house. Carney was contacted at his residence where he was brought back to the crash scene. Carney was charged with the listed crime and also was found to have two warrants for his arrest. The parked vehicle was towed by Roseburg Towing. DISPO: Cited and Released. PATROL: Roseburg Police OFFICER: RPD DATE/TIME: 07/30/2020 (10:27 PM) LOCATION: 1000 Block Keasey, Roseburg INCIDENT: Sexual Harassment CASE #: 203327 PERSON(S): (S) Johnson, Stephen Earl (39) Roseburg CHARGE(S): Escape III, Criminal Trespass II, Harassment, Sexual Harassment VEHICLE(S): DETAIL(S): Johnson was at a residence sitting around a fire drinking when an adult female went to her kitchen and Johnson followed her. Johnson allegedly grabbed the female from behind, by squeezing her buttocks area. She pushed Johnson away and was kicking at him and punching at him when he continued to grab her. As she tried to get away, Johnson threw her onto a bed, which was witnessed by a guest of the female.Johnson rode away from the scene on a bicycle and when confronted by officers he ran after being told he was under arrest. Johnson was ultimately Tased, and arrested without further incident. DISPO: Lodged at Corrections.
