The National Weather Service in Medford is now calling for temperatures as high as 109 degrees on Saturday. A excessive heat warning has now been issued. The hottest temperatures are expected Saturday. * IMPACTS...Extreme heat will significantly increase the potential for heat related illnesses, particularly for those working or participating in outdoor activities. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The combination of warm overnight temperatures, very hot temperatures with strong solar radiation, and dry conditions will make it difficult to stay hydrated and cool.
