Night Work on Winchester Street Starting August 31

(City of Roseburg) Roseburg OR – City Contractors will be performing night work on NE Winchester Street starting on Monday evening, August 31, 2020, through Friday morning, September 4, 2020. During this time, contractors will continue making improvements, which will extend the useful life of the street. From 12 a.m. to 9 a.m., contractors will be lowering sewer manholes and valves to prepare the street for a two-inch grind and inlay. Additionally, crews will conduct road base repairs at various sections along NE Winchester. Traffic impacts are projected to be minimal. However, due to the nature and timing of the work being conducted, nearby residents may experience higher than normal noise levels. The City would like to thank these residents for their patience and understanding during this part of the pavement rehabilitation project.
