A fire ignited at the Roseburg Landfill Monday afternoon. Several agencies responded to the fire including a helicopter that dropped several buckets of water on the fire from the South Umpqua River. As of 6:15 pm this evening things looked under control. As you can see in the photo, just a little smoke was still visible. This post will be updated.
