Archie Creek Fire Update for Tuesday, Sept 15

The Archie Creek Fire is now 125,498 acres, up 4,119 acres. Growth continues to slow on the Archie Creek Fire as crews continue to make progress on the lines around the perimeter of the fire. Containment stands at 15% as of Monday night. A few hundred folks from the National Guard showed up in a large convoy last night to set up at Wolf Creek Job Corps. They will be assisting on the lines of the fire and in a variety of other areas. It brings the total personnel on the fire to 708. ODOT and Pacific Power are still working along Highway 138 E. The highway is closed to the public between MP 21 and 83.
