30 Turtles Seen on the Wooden Island in the Ponds at Stewart Park

Turtle Thursday - All-time record number of turtles on the wooden island at the Duck Pond in Stewart Park today! I counted at least 30 turtles. Most are invasive red-eared slider turtles, but there are some native Western Pond turtles among them. I also came across a few baby red-eared slider turtles around the pond, including one perched on a rock out of the water.
