Wildlife Safari Welcomes New Baby Cheetah Cub

Wildlife Safari welcomed its newest baby cheetah this past Friday. Here is the latest update from Wildlife Safari. "We would proudly like to announce the birth of our 220th cheetah cub born at Wildlife Safari! Our first time mother, Paca, gave birth Friday, October 16th, to a single, beautiful, and healthy female cheetah cub. Unfortunately, with cheetahs in captivity or in the wild, when they give birth to a single cub it does not stimulate the mother enough to produce milk for the cub past a couple days of nursing. Therefore, we acted quickly and got into contact with our friends at Caldwell Zoo in Tyler, Texas who had a litter of four cubs born just days before the birth of ours. This created the opportunity to cross foster our single cub with their healthy litter to grow up with siblings and a wonderful mother. Our team is currently en route to Tyler, Texas to unite our cub with her new family. Stay tuned in the next hour to get a live update on this incredible cross country journey!"
