Oregon Announces Two Weeks of New Statewide Restrictions
8:28 PM · Nov 13, 2020Oregon announces new statewide restrictions that will close some businesses and restrict social gatherings to slow the spread of Covid-19 across the state. - Bars and restaurants will be limited to takeout only. - All gyms will be closed - Prohibit indoor and outdoor gatherings to no more than six people from two different households - Limit capacity at grocery stores and pharmacies to 75% capacity - Churches and faith groups to a max of 25 people indoors or 50 people outdoors - Prohibits visitors at long-term care facilities - Businesses should have employees work from home to all extent possible. Offices should be closed to the public. - Hair salons and barbers can remain open - Schools and daycare will not be affected. Additionally, a travel advisory was issued earlier today that all people that travel outside their home state quarantine for 14 days upon arrival. The statewide “freeze” will be effective next Wednesday, November 18th and run through Dec. 2nd. More updates to come as information becomes available.
