Diamond Lake Could See Another 8-10 Inches of Snow Wednesday & Thursday

Another 8-10 inches of snow could fall in the Diamond Lake area starting on Wednesday morning going into Thursday. The current snow base in the area is about 15 inches of snow. Here's the latest from NWS "More snow is on the way Wednesday through Thursday. Looks like the bulk of the snow will fall above 4000 feet with the snow coming down as low as 3500 feet. Note the Chemult and Crescent area on highway 97 will see around 4 to 6 inches of snow. Most of the Cascades will likely see 8 inches of snow with 12 inches being less likely. Also, Siskiyou Summit will probably see some snow as that pass’ elevation exceeds the snow level of 3500 feet."
