Roseburg Man Seriously Injured in Fall Last Month Showing Signs of Wakefulness

About a month ago I shared a story about a Roseburg man who was seriously injured in a fall on a construction site. Our hope and prayers were for Aaron to hang on and wake up as we entered the new year. Well, in the past week Aaron has woken up and has even started communicating! About a week ago Aaron’s wife Melanie asked Aaron to blink twice if he could hear her. He immediately blinked twice! Aaron has also moved his fingers and even lifted his head up! Doctors have said the waking up process would take quite a while. The improvements have been a huge encouragement to family and friends. “Aaron is making slow but steady progress. We are hoping for wakefulness in the next week or two so we can start with therapy and move towards recovery.” - Melanie Haskins said today. Thank you everyone for all your prayers and support towards Aaron and his family. It’s a beautiful thing to see! For those who haven’t seen it, a fundraiser has been set up to support Aaron and his family during this difficult time. https://www.gofundme.com/f/support-for-aaron-haskins-and-family
