RHS Foundation Creates Bleacher Brigade Fundraiser, Cutouts to Fill Stands
The Roseburg High School Foundation has created the Bleacher Brigade fundraiser as the return of outdoor sports at Roseburg High begin next week. After months of delays due to COVID-19, fall sports begin again Tuesday, March 2 when the Roseburg girls’ soccer team hosts Ashland at 6pm. The RHS boys soccer team has their first home game on Friday, March 5. The first RHS football game is March 12th against South Medford. However, fans will not be allowed in the stadium for the foreseeable future. In the meantime, the RHS Foundation hopes to fill Finlay Field with stand-ins of fans, parents, and community supporters. The RHS Foundation is now accepting photos of fans through a process that begins at www.roseburghighschoolfoundation.org. The foundation will review photos for appropriateness and photo quality, and for a $100 donation, have the cutouts printed and placed in the bleachers at Finlay Field. Proceeds will benefit Roseburg High School Foundation scholarships and program grants. Fans will be able to watch live streams of nearly every home game at https://1490thescore.com and “attend” games virtually as a cutout to support a worthy cause. The Roseburg High School Foundation’s mission is: To enhance and improve educational opportunities by securing and distributing financial resources for students and staff at Roseburg High School.
