Douglas County is headed towards a lower risk level. The county's two-week case total dropped down to 176. Anything below 224 cases over a two-week period qualifies the county for the high-risk level. The drop in risk level should start Friday, March 26th. An official announcement is expected from the State of Oregon on Tuesday, March 23rd. Today there were 9 new cases and hospitalizations are now down to only 6 Douglas County residents.(3 locally, 3 out of the area) This is great progress and a very encouraging sign as we move into spring and summer!
