Oregon Ducks Advance To Sweet 16 in NCAA Basketball Tournament

The Oregon Ducks men's basketball team advanced to the Sweet 16 Monday morning with a 95-80 win over No. 2 Iowa in the West Region of the NCAA Tournament. Chris Duarte led the No. 7 Ducks with with 23 points and seven assists. Eugene Omoruyi had 17 points, six rebounds and five assists for Oregon. Fellow starters LJ Figueroa added 21 points, seven rebounds and three steals while starting point guard Will Richardson had 19 points, six rebounds and seven assists. This is the fifth time Oregon has advanced to the Sweet 16 under head coach Dana Altman. Luka Garza led Iowa with 38 points and nine rebounds. Oregon shot 55.9% from the field for the game.
