7:49 PM · Mar 30, 2021(DCCRT) Your Douglas County Board of Commissioners, Douglas Public Health Network (DPHN) and Aviva Health have collaborated to host another mass drive-through COVID-19 vaccination event on Saturday, April 3, 2021, at the Douglas County Fairgrounds. The event will be by appointment only, so preregistration is required. We are planning to utilize both the Pfizer (two-dose) and Johnson & Johnson (single dose) vaccines. We will be offering Johnson & Johnson vaccines between 8:00 am and 9:45 am, and the first dose of the Pfizer vaccine from 10:00 am until 6:30 pm. The COVID-19 vaccination event is for: 1) All previously eligible and newly eligible adults. Those previously eligible include health care personnel, first responders, teachers, childcare workers, early learning, and those 65 and over. It is also open to all newly eligible adults including those 45 to 64 with underlying conditions, pregnant adults, those who work in agriculture or food processing and those living in congregate settings. (For eligibility OHA's vaccination eligibility plan webpage). 2) Second doses of the Pfizer vaccine to those residents who received their first dose at our drive-through COVID-19 vaccination event on Saturday, March 13, 2021.
