Temperatures Could Reach 110 Degrees This Weekend; Excessive Heat Watch Issued

Dangerously hot conditions with temperatures up to 110 degrees possible west of the Cascades. Low temperatures could be as high as 75 degrees overnight. Where: In the valleys and mid slopes of Oregon and northern California When: Friday afternoon through Tuesday afternoon Impacts: Extreme heat will significantly increase the potential for heat-related illnesses, particularly for those working or participating in outdoor activities. The high daytime temperatures combined with warm overnight lows will result in high heat risk and heat-related illnesses.
