The SunnySide Theatre Opens in Downtown Roseburg

The SunnySide Theatre in Downtown Roseburg opened its doors tonight and hosted an open mic night. The SunnySide is a performance theatre for music and the arts. They also serve food from downtown restaurants as well as cocktails and microbrews. The SunnySide is a project and dream of a husband and wife team, Daniel and Lu Thomas, who had been wanting to build something like this in the community for years. They have worked very hard preparing the space inside one of the oldest buildings in Downtown Roseburg. Here are more details the SunnySide shared for their open mic night. : "$5 cover charge for 18 and over. 17 and under $2. Waived for performers. The perfect weekly event for those looking to build up confidence on stage, or try out new material. Music, comedy, dance, other talents welcome. Requires sign-up starting at 4pm - 5:45pm in person.
