Lineman Finds Rattlesnake That Survived Jack Fire

Chris Canty, a Journeyman Lineman out inspecting power poles in the Jack Fire burn area came across a rattlesnake that survived the fire. As Chris was checking the pole, he heard the very distinctive rattle. He then found the rather large rattlesnake curled up inside a rocky opening near the power pole. It appears to be a Western Rattlesnake which is often found in Oregon.
