Work Party This Saturday at Stewart Park Ponds

We are having another work party at the Ponds and Natural Area in Stewart Park this Saturday morning from 9:30-11:30am. We are going to be adding a lot more plants out in front of the north pond. We will also be spreading bark chips out front of the north pond and expanding the protective fencing around the plants and flowers. We will have lots of trash grabbers for anyone that would like to help pick up litter around the park and natural area and we will also be doing some pruning and invasive weed removal. There will be burgers, hot dogs, and other food available at 11:30 We will also be giving away some small prizes! The weather is going to be nice and sunny, we would love to have you join us! Bring gloves if you have them. Other tools that would be handy if you have them: battery powered drills, hard rakes, hand pruners.
