Due to the decreasing number of COVID patients we are caring for, we are changing our Visitor Guidelines effective Friday, October 8, 2021. Masks are required at all of our facilities for patients, staff, and visitors. Other personal protective equipment measures may be required upon arrival. Mercy’s visiting hours are from 2 pm to 6 pm. All employees, patients and visitors will answer screening questions prior to entering any of our medical facilities, offices and clinics. To ensure the safety of our visitors, patients and staff, the following changes are being made: Effective Friday, October 8, 2021 - COVID Positive Patients: One (1) Visitor Per Day Per Patient - Outpatients Allowed One (1) Visitor Per Day Per Patient - Due to facility space limitations and our ability to manage both social distancing and the OR-OSHA cleaning protocols for public areas, patients coming for outpatient services – day surgery, imaging, lab, heart center procedures, wound care, infusion services, pulmonary function – will allow one (1) visitor, unless the patient has a disability that requires assistance. Reference SB1606 - Inpatients Hospital-Wide Allowed One (1) Visitor Per Day Per Patient One visitor per patient per day is allowed in all units at this time, during visitation hours of 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. with some exceptions.
