The one-week closure of Melrose Road at the South Umpqua River, which had been scheduled for August 15-22, will be postponed at least one week.

The delay will give the contractor more time to build a temporary bypass bridge, which will be located next to the existing Conn Ford Bridge.

ODOT will announce the new dates for the closure as soon as that information becomes available.
