6pm - Douglas Forest Protective Association (DFPA) has initiated an aggressive attack on an estimated 3–5-acre wildland fire, located about 7 miles north of Glendale, OR, near Martin Creek Road. Current resources include 3- helicopters, 1-fixed wing air attack, 4 engines, 1 dozer, and a 5- person crew with more on order. 

Helicopter bucket drops are making sufficient progress knocking the fire down. Crews will continue aggressive extended attack throughout tonight and tomorrow. Updates will be posted when more information becomes available. 

At this time, the fire is not a threat to structures or homes and is located on private timberland.
