Roseburg Fire Department Welcomes Three New Firefighters

This week, we are elated to introduce three new firefighters to the department. We would like to welcome them to our team as they start their careers with the Roseburg Fire Department. Firefighter Hagen graduated from Roseburg High School and received his Associate of Art’s transfer degree from Umpqua Community College. He will soon graduate with an Associate’s of Applied Science degree in Paramedicine. Prior to accepting the position with the Roseburg Fire Department, Paul was a Student Volunteer with Douglas County Fire District #2, in addition to owning and operating Paul Hagen’s Fishing Guide Services. Firefighter Gallagher graduated from Camas Valley High School and is currently studying Fire Science at Rogue Community College. Prior to accepting the position with the Roseburg Fire Department, Jake was employed as a full-time Firefighter with Jackson County Fire District #4. Firefighter Gillespie graduated from Roseburg High School and is currently enrolled in the Fire Science/Paramedic program at Umpqua Community College. Before accepting the position with the Roseburg Fire Department, in addition to working for Tom Gillespie Construction, Doran was a Student Volunteer and temporary Wildland Firefighter for Douglas County Fire District #2.
