Winter Storm Again This Weekend, 1-3 Feet of Snow Expected in Cascades

10:17 PM · Mar 30, 2023

Another winter storm warning has been issued for the Cascade mountain range, mostly at elevations above 2,500 feet. Anywhere from 12 to 30 more inches of snow is expected to fall. The warning begins at 11pm Friday night and goes through 11 pm Sunday night. Crater Lake got another 2 feet of snow over the past several days and now has 156 inches of snow, even reaching 160 inches which was a season high before a few inches melted in the past day. This season high is certainly going to be broken this weekend with as much as 30 more inches expected to fall. Our weather looks like it will improve substantially on Wednesday with it drying out and temperatures reaching 53 degrees and continuing to warm each day into next weekend.
