New Family-Owned Boutique Resale Shop, The Burg, to Open in Downtown Roseburg

Downtown Roseburg is about to welcome an exciting new shopping experience with The Burg Boutique Resale, a family-run resale shop slated for its grand opening on Saturday, July 8, 2023, from 1 PM to 3 PM. Owners Dahn and Dan Devlaeminck, along with their three adult children - Jorden, Austin & Caitlyn Lyman, and Justin - moved to Douglas County in 2008 from Portland. The family's entrepreneurial spirit led them from remodeling and flipping houses to opening their dream boutique-style resale shop. "The women in our family have always wanted to open a shop of some kind, and we have loved to buy and sell through other outlets over the years. When this beautiful shop came up in downtown, we had to leap!" said Dahn Devlaeminck. The Burg Boutique Resale will offer a broad range of products including clothing, furniture, housewares, and more. The aim is to provide customers with a clean, fun shopping experience with affordable prices and unique flair. In addition, the store will feature consignment furniture and clothing, and customers will have the option to trade clothing for store credit. Shoppers can also look forward to a "shop within a shop" experience, as the Devlaeminck's son, Justin, will curate a continually changing selection of precious metals, including bullion, collectibles, and numismatics. The store will operate Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, providing plenty of opportunities for locals and visitors alike to explore its eclectic offerings. "We are just super excited to be in the downtown area and can't wait to meet our neighbors and get involved with this community," added Dahn, highlighting the family's eagerness to contribute to the thriving Downtown Roseburg scene.
