There's a high fire danger (red flag) warning for parts of Douglas County from tonight at 8 PM until tomorrow at 11 AM. The warning is because lots of lightning is expected to hit dry areas, which could easily start fires. These fires could spread quickly, especially with strong winds up to 45 mph. This makes it really hard for firefighters to control any fires that might start. Be especially careful if you are up in the mountains over the next several days.
