It rained .35 inches on the Tyee Ridge Complex, which is on the higher end of what was expected! For perspective, .35 inches of rain on 6674 acres is 63.4 million gallons of water! It looks like the rain significantly reduced fire activity, and smoke and even allowed for evacuation levels to be reduced and residents to return to their homes! There have been no homes or structures lost in these fires. Crews even today are still working on structure protection. Thank you to all the firefighters and personnel working so hard to save all these homes. It's a significant gift to our community. And thank God for that big rain and the cooler weather! ๐ The photo is of a rose in the rain on Hubbard Creek Road. Have a good night everyone!
