LIGHTNING RECON: Just after 11 p.m., thunderstorms swept across the Douglas District, bringing withit several registered lightning strikes.🌩

DFPA and all other Douglas County Fire Departments, municipal and rural, are currently in reconnaissance mode. DFPA is utilizing ground and camera detection technology to locate potential fire starts. 

If the morning air quality permits, our air attack will be launched to activate aerial recon. 

An early afternoon / midmorning report will be generated and released with information of our recon findings.
