Mentors That Matter, A Unique Storytelling Event Coming to UACT in Roseburg Friday Oct 27

Roseburg, OR – Greater Roseburg Young Life is hosting "Mentors That Matter", a unique storytelling fundraising event on Friday, October 27 at UACT in Roseburg. "Mentors That Matter" features five speakers sharing personal stories about the impact mentors have had in their lives. The event will feature a presentation from Greater Roseburg Young Life Area Director Jon Nutter, and an opportunity for those in attendance to donate to the program. “Mentorship is at the heart of Young Life’s mission. We hope our event inspires people to invest their story into the story of young people in our area,” said Nutter. “Our volunteers are showing up for kids, going where they are, and sharing their lives so we can share our faith, which is the foundation for a flourishing life. We know kids hunger for that connection and foundation.” The speakers for "Mentors That Matter" are: Daniel Mallipudi, Senior Pastor at First Christian Church in Roseburg Dr. Jill Weber, Director of Teaching and Learning at the Roseburg School District Linda Sewell, M.D., Obstetrician/Gynecologist and owner of Excellence in Women’s Health Care in Roseburg Seth Buechley, Chairman and CEO of Cathedral Consulting Katie Davis, Columbia Cascades Young Life Regional Director Seating for "Mentors That Matter" is limited.
