ODOT Seeks Community Feedback on Roseburg's Interchange and Corridor Plans
12:02 AM · Oct 30, 2024The Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) and City of Roseburg are inviting community members to provide feedback on two significant transportation initiatives: the Exit 124/125 Interchange Area Management Plan and the Garden Valley Corridor Plan. Residents can participate in two ways: An in-person open house will be held at the Roseburg Library's Ford Room (1409 NE Diamond Lake Blvd.) on Wednesday, October 30. Two sessions are available: Afternoon session: 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM Evening session: 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM Spanish interpretation services will be provided during the evening session. Light refreshments will be served, and ADA parking is available at the library's main entrance. For those unable to attend in person, an online open house will be available through Friday, November 8. These planning initiatives aim to address the community's current and future transportation needs. The Interchange Area Management Plan will develop a 20-year vision for I-5 exits 124 and 125, while the Garden Valley Corridor Plan focuses on enhancing safety, mobility, and connectivity throughout the corridor. Together, these plans will establish transportation solutions and land use policies to support Roseburg's growing community.
