Parking Fees at Oregon State Parks Waived on “Green Friday”

Opt to go outside the day after Thanksgiving to celebrate “Green Friday” at a nearby state park. Parking fees will be waived at all Oregon State Parks on Friday, November 29. The 25 parks that charge a $5 daily pass will be waived all day (except at Shore Acres State Park where it expires at 3 p.m. for the Holiday Lights event). “Fall weather brings a different flavor to many state parks and we’re encouraging folks to get outside and explore,” said Oregon Parks & Recreation Department Director Lisa Sumption.
