The theft was unfounded, but a records check during the stop revealed a Felony Warrant for his arrest out of the Roseburg Police Department. He attempted to get away from officers after being told he was under arrest. He fought briefly with Officers before being forced to the ground and then arrested without further incident. Thompson stopped for traffic, Neal stopped behind Thompson, but Pierce was unable to stop and crashed into Neal, causing her to crash into Thompson.
