VEHICLE(S): DETAIL(S): Multiple citizens reported a disturbance in which Beckwith blocked traffic while gesturing wildly towards cars, started removing his clothes, struck one vehicle, and threw his shoe(s) at traffic. PATROL: Roseburg Police OFFICER: RPD DATE/TIME: 09/03/2019 (09:40 AM) LOCATION: 250 Garden Valley, Roseburg (One Champion Plaza) INCIDENT: DUII Controlled Substance CASE #: 194059 PERSON(S): (S) Gowins, Suzette Renee (59) Sutherlin CHARGE(S): DUII Controlled Substance VEHICLE(S): Gowins - (OR GJFN) Tan 2004 Chevrolet 2500 truck Parked - (TN J3055hy) White 2019 International Semi DETAIL(S): A citizen followed Gowins around the area of Garden Valley and Stephens Streets due to Gowins’ erratic driving. Gowins eventually made it into One Champion Plaza where she struck a parked International semi-truck, and continued driving. Gowins drove up onto the sidewalk in the complex as well. When an Officer located Gowins she was close to the entrance near Papa Murphy's. Gowins drove straight into the curb and was reversing in an apparent attempt to drive over the curb. There were numerous other vehicles and bystanders around attempting to stop Gowins. The Officer ran up to the vehicle and placed it in park, then removed the keys from the ignition. Gowins was clearly impaired and she was ultimately arrested for DUII. DISPO: Cited and Released. (31) Roseburg CHARGE(S): Recklessly Endangering Another x 2 Harassment DUII-Alcohol VEHICLE(S): 2002 Silver Dodge Caravan DETAIL(S): Officers responded to a reported disturbance at a residence in the area. Jenna called and advised her husband, Nathan, had thrown a glass container at her while she was holding their infant child, and he physically harassed her during the disturbance. As Officers were arriving, Nathan was driving away and was stopped. He displayed signs of alcohol impairment and he was arrested for DUII along with several charges from the disturbance.
