Round Top Fire Contained Near Roseburg

DFPA, rural, and landowner resources are currently engaged  on an estimated 7-8 acres fire located near the 10800 block of North Umpqua Highway in Roseburg, OR.

Thanks to an aggressive initial attack by ground and aerial resources, the forward spread of the fire has been stopped and   is now 100% dozer lined. 

Crews will continue to strengthen lines and move into mop up. Smoke will continue to be seen in the area as work continues.

No structures are threatened by this fire. The cause of this fire is under investigation.
