The Days Creek volleyball team defeated Riddle in straight sets Tuesday night for its ninth straight Skyline League win.

Moriah Michaels, Joleen Crume and Ashtyn Slater all had seven kills for Days Creek (18-2, 9-0). “It’s always fun to play at Riddle, it’s a fun environment and a loud gym,” Days Creek coach Gloria Kruzic said. “Riddle was scrappy, overall I was happy with the way we played. Still working out some kinks and learning and growing. It was their dig pink night. So it’s always an honor to participate in that.” Riddle (7-10, 5-5) was led by Madison Hold who had three kill and three assists. Sammy Linton added four assists, two aces and one block. The No. 2 ranked Days Creek team sits atop the Skyline League with five league matches remaining. Days Creek plays New Hope Christian at home on Thursday 6 p.m. Riddle plays at North Douglas on Thursday at 6 p.m. Days Creek junior Ashtyn Slater #10 goes up for a kill.
