A third arrest has been made in the ongoing investigation into reported injuries to students at Fremont Middle School's Developmental Learning Center in Roseburg, Oregon. The Douglas County Sheriff's Office announced Wednesday that Nathan Terrance Williams, 35, of Roseburg, was taken into custody and transported to the Douglas County Jail following an interview with deputies. Williams, a teacher in the Developmental Learning Center program, is accused of initiating unwanted and offensive physical contact with several students between January 28 and February 6, 2026. He was lodged on six counts of Official Misconduct in the First Degree and six counts of Harassment. The arrest follows two earlier arrests in the case, which involved instructional assistants at the school. Investigators developed the case against Williams after reviewing additional evidence and conducting further interviews as part of the broader inquiry, which began after school administrators reported suspicious injuries to students in the program. The Sheriff's Office has been working closely with school district administrators throughout the investigation, with district officials described as cooperative and responsive. Both agencies say they remain committed to student safety and the well-being of those affected.
